Dashboards, client portals and internal tools built around how your company works. Often they are a convenient front end for automations and AI agents.
A custom web app is browser-based software designed around one company’s processes: an admin dashboard, a client portal or an internal tool. It needs no installation, works on desktop, tablet and phone, and the code and data belong to the company that commissioned it.
We define who will use the app and what problems it should solve.
Before any code, you click through a prototype and check that it all makes sense.
Key features first, so the app starts working as soon as possible.
I connect the app to your systems, payments and automations.
New features are added based on user feedback.
Customers report faults, track repair status and download invoices themselves. Requests go automatically to the right technician, and the customer is notified of every change.
| Aspect | Off-the-shelf (SaaS) | Custom app |
|---|---|---|
| Fit | The company adapts to the tool | The tool fits the process |
| Costs | A subscription per user | Build and upkeep, no per-user fees |
| Integrations | Limited to what is offered | Any system with an API |
| Ownership | Data sits with the vendor | Code and data are yours |
The app works the way your company does, not the other way round.
An MVP in a few weeks, then growth in stages.
Self-service and clear information.
The code and data are yours.
It depends on the number of features, integrations and users. I price each project individually after a workshop, with a fixed price for a defined scope. We usually start with an MVP of the key features, which lowers the upfront cost and quickly shows whether the app meets expectations.
You do. When the project ends you get the full source code plus access to the repository and hosting accounts. You can keep developing the app with me or with another team. I do not use solutions that lock you into one supplier.
Yes. I build web apps responsively, so they work in the browser on desktop, tablet and phone. If you need features only installed apps offer, such as push notifications or offline work, a mobile app or a PWA is worth considering.
